Alicia Keys, Pitbull, The Killers, and Psy Join the EMA Lineup
The R&B singer, the rapper, the rockers, and the ‘Gangnam Style’ star will perform at Frankfurt’s Festhalle!
An internationally renowned R&B singer-songwriter. A rapper known as Mr. Worldwide. A rock band with one epic EMA performance already under their belt. And a Korean pop star who’s a global sensation. We can’t imagine four more exciting acts to add to the 2012 MTV EMA lineup than Alicia Keys, Pitbull, the Killers, and Psy!
A pianist with a golden voice—and 14 Grammy Awards to her name--Alicia Keys will perform a track from her eagerly anticipated album ‘Girl on Fire’.
Pitbull is up for two EMAs: Best Song (for ‘International Love’ with Chris Brown) and Best Male. The Miami-based rapper will perform a track from his new album ‘Global Warming’.
The Killers, who rocked Liverpool in 2008 with their performance of ‘Human’, are up for the Best Rock EMA and just topped charts around the world with their new album ‘Battle Born’.
Korean pop star Psy became an international sensation this year with his standout viral video for ‘Gangnam Style’, which earned him a nomination for the Best Video EMA.
Sounds like we’re in for a totally crazy night! We can’t wait for these four awesome artists to join fellow performers Taylor Swift, Muse, No Doubt, Carly Rae Jepsen, fun., and Rita Ora, and our fabulous hostess Heidi Klum, at Frankfurt’s Festhalle! The EMA airs live at 9PM CET on 11 November 2012...and the whole world will be watching!
